Want to make a difference in a child’s life? Become a CASA New Orleans Advocate! CASA New Orleans (Court Appointed Special Advocates) fights for the rights of abused and neglected children. CASA volunteers advocate on behalf of children (birth to 18+) in foster care. A CASA volunteer offers a child trust and advocacy during complex legal proceedings. Interacting and explaining to the child what is going on, the CASA may be the only stable and continuous presence in the child’s life.
The duties carried out by a CASA Advocate are extremely important. No special education or skills are required. We provide thorough training and continual support.
