Be a Powerful Voice in the life of an Abused and Neglected Child

Since 1987, CASA New Orleans has helped to make a difference in the lives of foster children in Orleans Parish. Although we have trained hundreds of volunteers who have served thousands of children over the years, we still need your help!

What is CASA?
CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. CASA New Orleans trains diligent, committed everyday citizens to stand up for abused and neglected children -- Volunteers are taught how to advocate for the best interest of foster children who are under the jurisdiction of Orleans Parish Juvenile Court. By getting involved, volunteers can help break the cycle of child abuse. Being a CASA Volunteer is an opportunity which has the ability to impact multiple generations in the future.

CASA Testimonials
"CASA is really a two-for-one bargain. It lets me help a young person in need as well as contribute to the welfare of the whole community at the same time." -- Andrew Brown, CASA Volunteer

"When you are working as a CASA, you are helping with a child's life and society as a whole."--Craig M. Stewart, CASA Volunteer
