Change a foster child's story.

There’s a child needing your support today.

Will you be the one to help them find a safe and permanent home?

Home should be a special place, filled with belonging and the love of family and friends. For children in foster care, thoughts of home can be complicated, full of hopes and expectations but also confusion and loss as they navigate that complex system.

ANGELIQUE

For little Angelique, in foster care since she was only four months old, home is the loving family who adopted her on National Adoption Day. Two years old now, she just celebrated her birthday with her forever family.

TATE

Tate came into foster care when he was twelve, and although there were many changes during his three and half years in care, he had one Advocate he could always count on. Last summer his grandmother became his guardian, and for him home is being reunified with his family.

BREAYANA

Home for Breayana is a Tulane University Dorm not far from Kayana’s home at UNO. Staying in New Orleans for college after aging out means that these sisters can visit their mom’s nursing home whenever they want to.

Become a CASA Advocate

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) fights for the rights of abused and neglected children in St. Bernard and Orleans Parishes.  CASA volunteers advocate on behalf of children (birth to 18+) in foster care.  A CASA volunteer offers a child trust and advocacy during complex legal proceedings. Interacting and explaining to the child what is going on, the CASA may be the only stable and continuous presence in the child’s life.

The Gift of Hope

Your gift helps us recruit, train and support caring volunteers to advocate all year long for safe, permanent, nurturing homes for our children. You can make a one-time donation or split it up into monthly gifts; you can even donate stock! (Just ask us how.) There’s a child needing your support today – will you give them a voice to help them find home?
